Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church is excited to offer "ParishPay" for making your Capital Campaign donations electronically!

With this program, you may choose to have your Capital Campaign donations made on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annually basis, and automatically debited from your bank account or charged to your credit card. This program is optional, but does offer benefits to all of us.

It provides an easy way to budget donations and, if you choose to use your credit card, it allows you to take advantage of the benefits your credit card company offers (points, cash bonuses, etc). It also enables our parish to receive a more steady cash flow, necessary to serve our community and beyond.

ParishPay is also set up to use for your regular donations.  Once registered with ParishPay for your weekly/monthly donations, you will still continue to receive envelopes for 2-3 months as a backup system.  When you notice the commencement of your automated deductions, please be sure to contact the Parish office to confirm that you no longer require envelopes.  Please note that at any time, you may cancel your participation with, or change the amounts you donate through, ParishPay.com.

 

As you browse through the ParishPay.com website, you will find much information, however, below are just two questions with their answers: 

2. What day are transfers made?
Recurring monthly gifts are taken on the 5th of the month or the following business day after the 5th in the case of the 5th falling on a weekend or holiday. We send out monthly email reminders to parishioners to let them know about the deduction.

3. Can this be changed?

No. All automatic donations are processed on the 5th of the month, or if the 5th is not a business day, then the following business day.  However, you can always make a one-time donation at anytime of the month.

New Documentation Requirements for Charitable Deductions

New IRS Tax Laws provide that to deduct any charitable donation of money, the donor must have either a written statement from the charity OR bank or credit card records substantiating the donation. Another benefit of contributing to OLPH electronically through ParishPay is that the record of your donation will appear monthly on your bank or credit card statement (and on your yearend summary), in full compliance with the new tax laws.
