Newness is everywhere here at Our Lady of Perpetual Help!  There is a new Religious Education Program structure and the Church House is progressing.  Our Church House will be completed by the first week of Advent.  We are very enthusiastic about all of these changes.

We are dedicated to teaching our children the Catholic Traditions and providing them with a living faith that is taught and experienced through the example of the Pastoral Staff and the Volunteer Catechists.   At Baptism, as Parents you promised to be the primary educators of faith and we are committed to being your partner on your family’s faith journey.  Catechesis is an education in faith and has many aspects.  As partners on this faith journey, all of us will experience the fullness of a Catholic Christian Life.

Please contact Religious Education Office, if you would like registration information.

Our thoughts and prayers are always with you!

In Christ,

Colleen Jagde

The Catechism of the Catholic Church states in section 2226, "Family members help one another to grow in faith by the witness of Christian life in keeping with the Gospel.  Family catechesis precedes, accompanies, and enriches other forms of instruction in the faith.  Parents have the mission of teaching their children to pray and to discover their vocation as children of God.  The parish is the Eucharistic community and the heart of the liturgical life of Christian families; it is a privileged place for the catechesis of children and parents."
